Efficiency and application of the detector for magnetoscopic inspection are as important as correct magnetization.

You can use magnetic powder in dry form or dissolved in a liquid suspension (liquid method).

The liquid method is recommended for finding miniature defects, and for inspecting pieces of irregular geometric form. The liquid's visible effect ensures that the item is fully covered by the detector.

There are two macro-families of detector liquids; water based detectors are more economical and safer, while oil based detectors ensure better quality.

All our bench metalloscopic equipment features a collection and agitation tank with hydraulic pumping system, to facilitate recycling of magnetic liquid.

We have also devised a line of MT products in spray cylinders that are easy to use in situations where a collection tank is not indispensable, or in special situations or in yards.

We recommend that inspection with dry magnetic powder be carried out with powder guns, rubber syringes, etc.
